“In July 2018, I had the honor to be a keynote speaker at the Connecting Curious Minds conference in Victoria, BC. Leading up to the actual conference, I worked alongside the founder of Genesa Corp for 3 months to prepare for my 15-minute speech. Azucar provided a mentorship that goes beyond business, in fact, we didn’t even discuss my business. He facilitated sessions that required me to create a deeper connection with myself and work to become my most authentic self. As someone who has been on the journey of self-mastery, Azucar provided thought-provoking content that allowed me to remove major blockages in my life, that was stopping me from becoming the entrepreneur that I am today. It was extremely difficult because you are being asked to face your demons, your childhood, your wounds, everything in your life that you’ve been avoiding. You’re asked to confront your fears, your worries and shame, which is something I never thought would be so essential in order to be an entrepreneur. My advice for those interested in participating in the conference would be to drop all your expectations, check your ego in at the door and just show up for yourself and your business. It will be difficult, it will be trying, it will be uncomfortable, but you will not regret the growth and development that takes place during the entire process.”
